2) Get some books. Notice that is plural! Two or three books.
Expand your thinking. Look up the same item in all of them,
then add your own creative juice!
3) See if there are any classes or chat groups in your area,
join up!
4) Check out tutoring sites on the net.
5) Get Private Tutoring! Yes! Specific, efficient, at your pace.
 Questions
can be about your birthchart: signs, planets, houses,
aspects. Understanding timing factors is key to useful
astrology: planetary cycle lengths, transits, progressions,
solar returns, Saturn and Jupiter returns. Comparison
