STAR*SMART: TimeLine 2010 to 2015, the Big Picture
2008 to 2023: Pluto
into Capricorn 15 years, Power to build, heal our
structures and laws, rebuild, transform daily. The last time it was there
was from 1762 to 1778, during the American Revolution. The time before
that, 1516-1533, Martin Luther’s Protestant revolt. Please look at Lynn
Koiner’s different take on Pluto
into Capricorn. Many people are talking
about Capricorn as a materialistic sign, and that is partly true, and good,
and needed. We need good managers, masters. Another way of
thinking about Masters, is as a spiritual master. Capricorn is also a
profound sign of sacred archetypical wisdom, the spiritual ‘Father,’
a deeply caring shepherd. Behavior can range from assassin to saint!
2008 to 2011, 4 years, Pluto, Uranus and Chiron, then Neptune,
change
Signs. These planets are slow movers, 248, 84 and 51, 168 year cycles
respectively, so it is significant they change together in such a short time.
Chiron will be the first to change signs again, and that won’t be until
2019!
2008 to 2010: Saturn opposite Uranus 5 times, finishing late
July 2010!
Harness the inventions, use them well, be well connected!
2009 to 2010: This month concludes the Jupiter to Chiron,
Neptune
conjunctions. This combination happened last at the end of WWII, 1945,
and won’t happen again until 2094, 84 years from now!! Leaning and
growth beyond our wildest dreams, both economically and spiritually.
This series of conjunctions prepared the way for the culmination and last
aspect of the entire set, the Feb 16, 2010 Chiron/Neptune conjunction
that happens only once! Deception versus insight, ultimate compassion,
spiritual magnetism, extraordinary computer businesses and inventions,
opportunities of a lifetime!
2010: Chiron into Pisces, Jupiter/Uranus into Aries Healers
and
teachers of spirituality, amazing visionary discoveries. Learning and
growth networked beyond our imaginations, the internet as we know it
today will be nothing! From music to mechanics, leaders will take us to
a renaissance in our own times!
2011: Neptune into its own Sign Pisces The
world’s waters will take
on new meaning. Religions will unite in common causes that transcend
beliefs in favor of doing the business of the people in relationship with
Earth herself.
Eric
Meyers says: ‘In the years 2010-2011, Neptune will return to the point
that it was discovered. It reaches 27 degrees Aquarius, the exact point it
was at when it was first seen by human eyes in 1846. This passage is
meaningful because Neptune will start its second 165-year cycle as a
conscious frequency in the collective psyche. Not only will Neptune return
to its position of discovery, launching a new round of surrealism for us to
understand, but shortly afterwards Neptune will enter its home sign of
Pisces in 2012.
When a planet is in the sign that it rules, its expression is strengthened.
When the energy is at its most pure, the potential for use or misuse is
heightened. By its nature, Neptune's energy is difficult to get a handle on
even under the best of circumstances. During this time of collective
renewal with the energy, most people on our planet will likely feel a sense
of uneasiness.’
2012 – 14:
Pluto sextiles Chiron 5 times Healing the healers, wealth of
all kinds – knowledge, financial, personal, a spiritual renaissance with
all
its birthing and growing pains!
2012 – 15: Uranus squares Pluto SEVEN
times! Total worldwide
shakeup of financial systems, ways of perceiving relationships. And, it’s
only 4 years.

Mars Retrogrades every other year, and this is
the one!
Yesterday, Dec 20, started the Mars retrograde until
March 10!
Review how you take action, what gets you started. How do you
handle your anger, sexuality. How do you lead? We all have Mars and

TODAY IS THE DAY!
It’s Winter Solstice, Saturnalia, Yule! Welcome
to the Sun coming back! This on the morning of the last Jupiter
conjunct Neptune! May the growing light reveal our power deep within!
This conjunction has been a part of the rare triple conjunction sequence
of Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune. This combination has occurred only 5 times
between 500AD and 3000AD! The last time it occurred September 1945
when World War II ended. The exact Chiron/Neptune conjunction was
Sep 3, the very day the war ended! Jupiter can be optimistic and
believes in the goodness, telling it like it is! Neptune is magic,
spirituality, the arts, dreams, films, saving Souls, retreats! Together it
can be fun! Jupiter says let’s take the tent, or the big bus, but let’s
move it around and tell our story. Neptune’s style is a lot more quiet
and
gentle, but can be an empath and get totally into it! Honesty and
empathy can make good companions.

Arrowhead pattern, a Yod with Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune
at its midpoint, Mars vitalizing it at the opposite point. No standing still!
Mutterings and mumblings won’t do, change IS going to happen.
Understand what you can, love no matter what, move forward, correct as
you go. The result may be much more than you expected.
Dec 24, 6 to 10 AM,
we have the same Arrowhead pattern plus a
powerful TSquare anchored by the Saturn square Pluto, the combination
of the patterns involving every planet in the chart! Intense financial
emphasis, balancing independence and sharing! It calls for self
discipline, finding new ways to do things that have been challenges,
breaking old patterns. Crawl if you have to, simple small steps are
humble, honorable. You may be going through a tough time right now
but you are going to be blessed in ways that you cannot imagine.

26, Mercury is Retrograde until Jan 10. Mars is hot,
Mercury is not! Mars is how you do what you do, Mercury is how you
think. This time it ranges from 21 to 5 Capricorn, turning
the compost
of our responsibilities, commitments, what we want to work at, how we
want to do it. Saving time, priorities, facts, help from mentors, coaches,
and elders and parents, can make a difference. This is a good time to
call ahead to remind, check things are as you thought they would be.
Think about changes before turning them down out of hand, there may
be hidden jewels in there. Pay special attention to your skin and your
mineral intake. Can’t hurt to consider refurbishing, bringing something
old up to date, knocking out a wall to make more space, lay in some
stonework. Maybe do that on paper, but don’t make the actual changes
until after Mercury goes direct. If you still want it, do it. Be careful
buying property, making job changes. If you are experienced, and it is
rather routine, go for it! But still, things won’t likely turn out exactly
as
expected. Focus on the solutions, course corrections, and making
progress, the long term.

Some locations of the Soul,
are simply ‘karmic.’ I believe some Souls
have made agreement to ‘serve’ as needed, and have the personal
strength, resilience, and intelligence to operate under difficult conditions.
Their breakthroughs then are all the more inspiring. Even their observed
struggles, even their failures, help others see and change.
And, there are things, it
seems, the Soul must do. It chooses and puts
even a difficult learning piece as a top priority, and submits with dignity

profound tenacity, can be under great duress, yet they succeed! They
build a powerful foundation under the very spot they are standing on,
even while all the issues are happening, making an on-location elevation
gain. They stay the distance and stand tall in Spirit.
These Souls are just a little
more serious at times, and laugh like hell at
others. They are often more grounded, see the world profoundly for
what it is, it’s difficulties, elegance, the intricacy of the Great Mystery.
Sometimes they are irreverent, ridiculous, like wise and crazy coyote of
Native American tradition. They can be, because they have been some
places others don’t have the capacity to embrace. And so it is. In the
dark, in the Light.

DAYS TO MAKE IT SPECIAL!
January 1, New Decade Threshold 2010!
I’ve slowly been reading
a little book I found at the Mount Calvary
Retreat House and Monastery after it burned to the ground in the Tea Fire.
It is water damaged, rumpled. To Pause at the Threshold, Reflections on
Living on the Border by Esther de Waal. She discusses that there are
many thresholds - borders of places, seasons, times of day, the
connection of our inner and outer selves, the waking moment, hospitality,
belief and disbelief, shoes off at the doorway, the profound times of
cultural change, life’s identity shifts at births, marriages, divorces,
and
the final threshold, death.
Esther opens with how we
are often surprised to discover that there are
thresholds. She grew up close to the border of England and Wales
where there are lots of those easily crossable low stone borders. She
discusses how we live our thresholds, sometimes alone, praying,
scrambling for help, often questioning, resisting, restless or excited. As
we become enriched by them, we live ‘a kind of double vision in which
we see both the light and the dark together and both sustain us.’ I
think it is a life skill, that posture at the gateway of letting go, the pause,
to the dawn of looking forward, making change. How do we comfort
our Self for what we born into, our regrets? How do we do fresh and
free, the unknown? Make note how you are standing or moving.
Surely, one thing to know
is we are not alone in this experience. Is it
time to reach out and share your story, some of your story? Embrace
learning, be uncertain and enjoy the waiting, ambiguity rules! Esther
says explore the importance of opening up, being receptive to your
surroundings. Pause. With ‘listening eyes’ while each holds the
other in
a gaze of the most profound acceptance and love. Thrive at the
threshold of love!
