STAR*SMART: Stelliums during Pisces, Venus Retrograde

As with all clusterings of planets, they are great with some people’s
charts, not with others, or with parts of their charts. We think of Aquarius
as the heroic humanitarian, spreading the good word, work, worldwide,
and it is! Yet in daily life, it can be difficult for signs not so comfortable
with Aquarius, earth and water signs in general, in particular, those
square it, Taurus, and Scorpio, and opposite, fire sign, Leo. These signs
are what we call Fixed signs, anchors and stabilizers, or stuck and
stubborn – take time to adapt, but loyal. Of all the fixed signs, Aquarius
prefers change, it’s mode of ‘fixity’ is ‘the only constant is change!’

Feb 22: 5 planets, Chiron, and the North Node in only 14 degrees in
Aquarius! Focus on the options, channels, this provides. The Moon is
conjunct Mercury, Jupiter and Mars. Right here where you live, use your
sense of nurturing, ways of your culture, your feminine aspect of your-
self, to listen, to talk in a way that upholds a principle worth standing up
for. Extend an invitation to your circle of ones aligned with your spirit
to start a new venture that will open people’s minds. Consider your
history, especially the matriarchy, to gather the threads of thinking that
may have been abandoned, but merit a new look now that their time has
come. Find ways to make change safe.

The second part of that group of seven, is the Chiron conjunction
Neptune that will be with us until their exact conjunction Feb 16, 2010,
when it begins to fade. Healing visions open our awareness, help us
see potential. Taking time to rest, slow down, let go, allows our very
way of seeing to down shift into a mode that is more absorbent,
retentive, peaceful, centered. We can start to believe in a change that
comes from our core that our intuition tells us we are ready for.

Mar 4: Of 5 Planets in Aquarius, 4 are in a 3 degree conjunction!
This time it is Mars with Chiron, no way to escape a new chance at
healing; and Mercury with Neptune, you will understand it! Mars takes
action, wisely is inspired! Mercury listens perceptively, passes the info
along where it will do the most good. Aquarius amplifies this change in
the valence by calling for focused efforts, team action, establishing
organizations, that become institutions, that last long after they are
gone. Get it uP!

Mar 6 to Apr 17: Venus Retrograde, conjunction sun. Every 18 months.
Feb 1: Approaching period 29 Pisces to 15 Aries
Mar 6: Retrograde 15 Aries to 29 Pisces
Mar 27: Venus conjunct Sun at 7 Aries
Apr 17 to May 19: Direct, finishing period 29 Pisces to 15 Aries

Just a touch of Pisces, mostly Aries. This Rose isn’t pink, it’s RED!
Poised and passionate, no time to lose! It gets what it wants. No
waiting, no wall flower. Quick to see value, graceful, loves a fair
challenge. Make your choices for the right reasons, not just for quick
pretty or from rebellion. Relationships and finances need review, a
refresh, new input. Repair, reconcile, be courteous – notice the ‘court’
part of that word. Venus will sweeten where Aries can fight for the
sake of fighting. Add gentle affection and appreciation, but be sure
you make some impact. Be sure of your return policies, that it is
returnable. Don’t do what you can’t take back – like haircuts, facelifts,
or an intimacy you later regret. If you still love it after Apr 17, + another
week, it’s a keeper. Take a good look at yourself. Are you attractive,
attracting, the way you want to be? How is beauty in your world?

Sign*Smart! Pisces, Psychic by Sign!

Magic! There is all kinds! Pisces magic is often clairaudience and/or
clairvoyance. That is clear hearing, clear seeing. Some people hear
words, converse with ‘other’ beings whether they are on this plane or
other places. Some people are visionary, dreamers, who get images
of people or places, things, who ‘see’ what was or is to come. At the
simplest level, it is a way to connect with one another. Many times its
usefulness is that it bypasses our conscious logical mind so we can
learn or use information that we ordinarily deny. Often, ‘guided’ by
super beings, or messages from loved ones no longer in the body, it
readies us to grow beyond an uncomfortable place, find peace with a
situation, event, in our lives. And, it can save us a lot of time and
worry to know why or how or what may happen, and get ready. It most
assuredly is efficient. No consultant, no therapist, no bills.

We run the gamut from feeling overwhelmed by this input, to wishing
desperately we had the talent, to no way wanting it, to bah humbug!
But what if you want it and don’t seem to have it? As an astrologer, I
find every sign has a kind of psy talent, so I could say you probably
have talent you take for granted because it is so a part of you that you
don’t notice it! But, again, what if this is the talent you want?

We all develop specifically to the ways our charts indicate. If you
have Taurus on your 12th house (the Pisces house), you may develop by
meditating outdoors, or find yourself responding intuitively while doing
or getting a massage. If you have Neptune ( the Pisces planet) in your
7th house of relationships, you may be a psychic matchmaker, read
relationships right away when you meet people! Practice, pay attention.

Know how you function best, then relax and let it happen. Perhaps your
talent doesn’t seem as ‘profound’ or as dramatic as you think it should
be, but it is your gift, one that others are probably very grateful you have.
Pay attention to when it is happening, how you feel, how you ‘knew.’ Get
steady, trust yourself the next time that happens.

DAYS TO MAKE IT SPECIAL! March 17, Happy St Patrick’s Day!

While not the first to bring Christianity to Ireland, it is Patrick who is said
to have encountered the Druids at Tara and abolished their pagan rites.
The story holds that he converted the warrior chiefs and princes,
baptizing them and thousands of their subjects in the "Holy Wells" that
still bear this name.

Saint Patrick's Day has come to be associated with everything Irish:
anything green and gold, shamrocks [symbolizing the holy Trinity –
Father Son and Holy Spirit] and luck. Most importantly, to
those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patrick's Day is a
traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries
worldwide.

So, why is it celebrated on March 17th? One theory is that that is the day
that St. Patrick died. The biggest observance of all is, of course, in
Ireland. With the exception of restaurants and pubs, almost all
businesses close on March 17th. Being a religious holiday as well, many
Irish attend mass, where March 17th is the traditional day for offering
prayers for missionaries worldwide before the serious celebrating begins.

In American cities with a large Irish population, St. Patrick's Day is a very
big deal. Big cities and small towns alike celebrate with parades,
"wearing of the green," music and songs, Irish food and drink, and
activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games. Some
communities even go so far as to dye rivers or streams green!
