IMPORTANT!
The Sun changes signs different days different years anywhere
from the 19th to the 24th! Who might have been an Aries one
year, might be a Taurus had they been born the next. Have your
chart calculated by a professional!
There
are a lot of people producing charts that have little knowledge
about calculations. Have your chart done at three different
websites and/or astrologers, unless you know their skill level.
Just because they know the words 'daylight saving time, zone
change, below the equator, dateline,' doesn't mean they know
how to use them. Another issue is whether that person has an
up-to-date automatic system that corrects for daylight saving,
etc., changes. Sometimes the person doesn't know, for example,
that the USA was on daylight saving time in the winters of '74
and '75 due to power shortage! And there is always the age old
problem of simple typos!
A
simple way to check your chart for ballpark accuracy, is to
see if the Sun is in the part of the chart that corresponds
to the time of day you were born. Subtract that hour if you
were born during daylight saving time, two hours if you were
born during double summer war time in England. The top of your
chart corresponds to noon, the bottom is midnight. The left
most point is sunrise, Ascendant/Rising Sign, six A.M. The right
most point is sunset, Descendant, six P.M. Every section of
your chart is equivalent to about two hours.
